International recording superstars Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys will be joining Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches for season 11 of NBC’s two-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice.” The 11th season will begin in September.
Both Cyrus and Keys are passionate fans of “The Voice”: Cyrus is a key adviser on the current season and Keys served as a mentor for season seven.
The current cycle of “The Voice” has averaged a 4.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 15.4 million viewers overall in “live plus seven day” results from Nielsen Media Research. In its debut week, the Monday and Tuesday editions of “The Voice” ranked #1 and #2 among the week’s primetime telecasts on the broadcast networks in adults 18-49 (“live plus same day”), in Week 2 they finished #2 and #3 and in Week 3 they ranked #1 and #3. For the 2015-16 season to date, the Monday edition of “The Voice” is television’s #1 alternative series in adults 18-49 and total viewers.
